About barebodycollection.com

A skincare collection called BARE® for Martha's Closet sounds sexy, and you might be wondering if I'm advocating something sinful. Perish the thought! The only thing sinful about these products is the exotic scents and luxurious formulas. I had never heard of Martha Choy or Martha's Closet until now, but like another now-famous (and very successful) female entrepreneur with unique, exotically-scented skincare products. By the way, BARE® products do not contain harsh preservatives or synthetic fragrances. Martha Choy, Founder and President of Bare® and Martha's Closet virtually created BARE® in her garden studio apartment on East 81st Street in New York. She also runs a website called Martha's Closet that she calls an "upscale EBay." The new skincare line has a number of nice products, including a perfume beautifully housed in a gorgeous glass bottle. Since that product is $ 289.75 for 4 fl. oz. I instead am suggesting some other favorites that I think you'll want to try: BARE-ly Legal $24.75 4 oz. arrives, as do the other skincare products, in an amber plastic jar with silver top that looks very simple, but attractive. But the main attraction is what's inside: a very hydrating, super-thick and rich cream that smells like tropical flowers and spices: White Gardenia, Tuberose, Taratahi Lilac, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, and Black Coconut. It's a traditional, beeswax and borax body butter that purports to be over 98% natural (ingredients are listed below). The product is over 50% oil and if your skin is dry, you won't believe how quickly and effectively it works to eliminate every flake and itch and dry patch. You can definitely use it on even the toughest areas to moisturize, including "rhino-hide" feet, elbows, and knees. You only need a tiny bit, and you'll find it is more like solid pomade than a cream. The added bonus, especially if you use it on your feet and legs, is that the strong, exotic scent wafts up and will even mask (stinky) foot odor. So what is in it?: Sunflower Seed Oil, Soya Bean Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, De-Ionized Water, Natural Beeswax, Emulsifying Wax NF, Sodium Borate, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Fragrance, Chamomile, Disodium EDTA. Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol. There is a lighter, creamier version of this product called BARE-ly Legal Light. I am not sure why it is less expensive, but in truth, I prefer the lighter, less oil-centric formula. That's not to say it doesn't moisturize, it just leaves less of a protective film. The fragrance is slightly lighter and more floral as well, making it more daytime-friendly. I also tried BARE-ly Legal Luminescence. Yes, it's pricey, but it packs a multi-tasking punch with SPF 30, a versatile, body enhancing shimmer, tint, and miniaturization. The very light cream looks liked cherry whipped cream in the jar, It is a lighter version of the Bare-ly Legal scented Body Butter, infused with complexion-illuminating mica and a touch of tint to give your skin a sun kissed glow. In case you're wondering, mica powder comes from minerals and reflects light creates an illusion of a smoother, softer and more radiant skin tone. The scent is lovely: white tuberose blossoms, taratahi lilac, white gardenia and rare blossoms from all over the world. This sensual product has. Deionized Water, Octyl Palmitate, Grapeseed Oil, jojoba oil, hemp oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Steareth-30, Ceteth-10, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Chamomile, Boswellia Serrata, Tocopherol, Borage Seed Oil, Carbopol, Triethanolamine, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance, Mica, Zinc. If BARE-ly Legal Luminescence doesn't get you to use sun protection, I don't know what product, will! My final, favorite pricey but justifiably must-have product is the "Coco" by BARE Chocolate Lip Liqueur. The hard, waxy lip balm arrives in a simple tin, and when you open it the smell of hot chocolate wafts right up at you. If you're a chocolate lover (and who isn't?), the smell alone will be enough to drive you wild (thanks to notes of Creamy Vanilla, Rich White Chocolate, Raw Sugar Cane and a hint of pepper). In case you're wondering why you'd put pepper in a perfectly delicious blend, it helps plump your lips and gives them a hint of your own, natural lip color (the lip balm is colorless). Another nice thing is that this beeswax lip balm lasts, to keep lips moisturized so you don't have to apply it more often. A little bit goes a long way, thanks to Castor Seed Oil, Beeswax, Lauryl Laurate, Carnauba and Soy Wax. The only liability is that you'll find people wanting to ask you about it, and try it.
